In early 2023, eXi and Knowledgeworks wanted to do a remix of the Emancipatory R+D methods and apply them to their Liberatory Education Futures Forecast, released in February 2022. eXi worked with them on a five-month project that resulted in expanding the application of ERD methods, such as the IPI Check, Emancipate, Oppress, Include: A Rose, Bud, Thorn Remix, and others!
This toolkit is composed of seven activities to help teams of three to five people discuss what might happen for the future of learning and what they want to happen, as well as map their paths toward a more equitable and life-affirming future of learning.
